A. Admission Requirement
Basic Requirement: 4-year baccalaureate degree Submit duly accomplished application form that can be downloaded from the internet, acquired in person or in writing from the following:

- Transcripts of records
- Transfer Credentials or Honorable Dismissal
- Diploma (certified true copy from school/university registrar)
- Application Letter
- Two letters of reference from former professors, colleagues or supervisor
- Birth Certificate
- Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
- Three (3) passport size photographs on plain white background signed at the back
- Two (2) long white folder
B. Residency
Students admitted to the Masters level must complete the degree requirements within five years from the date of initial enrollment. Continuous enrollment must be maintained unless a leave of absence has been filed and approved by the Program Coordinator and the Dean. Students doing their research should be enrolled at the time of proposal and final defense. Students may opt not to enroll while completing their research work, but they may not be able to avail of the services of an advisor. To avail of the services of an advisor, the student shall enlist for “residency” after the full thesis load (units) has been maximized.
Transfer students may be admitted to the Graduate School as long as fifty percent (50%) of coursework is done in the Medical Center inclusive of the research work as needed by the particular degree program. There shall at least be a one (1) year residency at the UERMMMC Graduate School. Subjects taken from another school will also have to be assessed for credits.
C. Graduation Requirement
A Diploma will be awarded to the student who satisfactorily completes all major subjects along this program track. This diploma can be credited towards a masters degree when the following conditions are met:
- enrollment in the masters degree program occurs within one (1) year from the completion of the diploma course
- grade point average is 2.0 or better
- waiver is signed to the effect that all courses henceforth taken, will be in a quantitative grading system.
- residence in the Graduate School should at least be one (1) year.
The Master degree in a particular program shall be awarded to the student who completes all required subjects and fulfills the following:
General weighted average of 2 in all quantitatively graded subjects. (Students may opt for a Pass/Fail grade in 25% of coursework).
Completion of required number of units appropriately distributed.
Passing a comprehensive examination as needed by the particular program track.
Completion of a thesis or research work when applicable; proposed and defended.
A diploma attesting to the fact of graduation will be given only when clearance has been made and six (6) copies of the final bound revised thesis or research work plus a CD-ROM copy have been submitted to the Graduate School.
- Basic Requirement: Graduate of a BSN Course Current R.N. License

For Foreign Students, the following are the additional requirements:
- Student’s visa issued by the Philippine Government
- Photocopy of passport (original to be presented for verification)
- TOEFL result of at least 500 of English if not the medium instructions in the country of origin, or equivalent
- Study permit from the Office of the Registrar
- Proof of license to practice nursing in the country of origin
