Online Database on Trial
Below is the list of electronic journal and online databases being offered to the University by the different publishers for a free trial.
The user statistics that will be generated during the trial period will form part of the library’s recommendation for the acquisition of the electronic databases. We advice everyone to make full use of these electronic resources for the duration of the trial.
Online Database on Trial :
UpToDate - is the largest clinical community in the world dedicated to synthesizing knowledge for clinicians and patients. It includes over 4,400 expert clinicians who function as authors, editors and peer reviewers and over 400,00 users who provide feedback and questions to our editorial group. Thier role is to facilitate interaction among members of the healthcare community and to synthesize and disseminate information in order to help clinicians provide better care.
UpToDate set up a trial for the Institution starting today up to September 2010.
