3. Grants-in-Aid
Tuition fee discount is given by UERMMMC, Inc. to financially deserving students in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th or 5th year level. This scholarship entitles the student of 15% to 80% discount on tuition and laboratory fees. Eligible students are interviewed and recommended by the Committee on Scholarships and Academic Honors with the concurrence of the Dean and approval of the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Medical Center. Application forms are available at the Dean’s Office.
4. College-Based Scholarship
Partial Scholarship Grant – (UERMMMC Alumni Foundation in the USA, Inc) This consists of partial subsidy for tuition and other school fees to students in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year with the following qualifications:
- good moral character
- average grades
- financially needy
Book Scholarship Grant – (UERMMMC Alumni Foundation in the USA, Inc) This is awarded to 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students for book expenses who have satisfied the following criteria:
- good moral character
- average grades
- financially needy
Students who received the above scholarship grants may apply for the same grants for the following school year provided they pass all subjects.
The Committee on Scholarships and Academic Honors shall choose the grantees from the applicants for Grants-in-Aid and recommend these to the Dean for approval.
Special Honors Award – (UERMMMC Alumni Foundation in the USA, Inc) This is given to freshmen students who have excellent academic performance in the baccalaureate degrees but do not qualify for the Pres. Francisco Dalupan Entrance Scholarships. This award entitles a qualified freshman student to partial tuition fee for one semester. Upon the recommendation of the Committee on Scholarships and Academic Honors with the approval of the President and Chief Academic Officer, the awardees will be chosen from the list of applicants based on the following criteria from selection:
- GWA of 1.8 or better
- NMAT percentile mark of 90 or higher
- Interview with the Committee on Scholarships and Academic Honors
Gold and Silver Scholarships
This grant is awarded as early as the 2nd semester in the first year to students who have attained excellent academic standing. They are selected by the members of the Committee on Scholarships and Academic Honors. The Gold Scholarship awardees receive $2,000.00 a year while Silver Scholarship awardees receive $1,000.00. These renewable scholarships shall be granted to students who fulfill these criteria:

Application forms are available at the Dean’s Office starting second semester of the school year. Eligible candidates are interviewed and recommended by the Committee on scholarships and Academic Honors to the Dean for final approval. The respective associations are then informed of the grantees.
