Accounting Department

The Accounting Department is located at the 3rd floor of the Administration Building. It is headed by the Comptroller, Ms. Iris Militar. Under the Comptroller’s supervision is the Chief Accountant. The Chief Accountant, Mr. N. De la Cruz Jr., supervises the Accounting clerks. At present, there are eighteen Accounting clerks in the Department who are handling the different books – accounts receivables from patients, accounts receivables from students, vouchers payables, payroll, expense, and revenue.  

The Department is in-charge of preparing the financial statements, supporting schedules and various reports for submission to the upper management and the Board of Trustees. It is responsible for providing management with relevant and timely reports as bases for decision making.

At present, the Comptroller, Ms. Iris Militar, is also the concurrent Budget Officer. As Budget Officer, Ms. Militar is in-charge of preparing the budget of the UERM Memorial Medical Center based on the budgets as proposed and submitted by all the departments and offices of the Center. She sees to it that expenditures are within the approved budget to regulate the expenses of the organization.
