A Candid Q&A with Chairman P. O. Domingo

As we had said in the previous issue of Mediscope, credit is due Chairman P. O. Domingo for not just the improvements in the Medical Center since he became its Chairman of the Board and CEO in 1990 but virtually for the Medical Center's continued existence. He had inherited a then "ailing" institution and, like a physician, this exceptional UE alumnus—who graduated from UE with the Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1950—rescued the Medical Center from ruination. In line with this special Golden Jubilee issue of Mediscope, we thought of asking the fairly low-key Chairman a few questions for the benefit of the UERM community's collective curiosity..
