Guidelines for Scholarship
- Entrance Scholars
- CON/CPT
- Have no grade lower than 85% in any subjects
- Present a certification from the Principal as the class rank and honors obtained
- Submit the fourth year form 138 or high school records
- COM (Criteria may change without prior notice. New criteria applicable starting SY 2013-2014)
- University Entrance Scholarship - This entitles the awardees to free tuition fee, laboratory fee and miscellaneous fees for one year and is awarded to a freshman student who is holder of Latin Honor in BS Course with NMAT of 90 percentile or better.
Summa Cum Laude graduates will be entitled to an additional book allowance amounting to P15,000. - President Dalupan Entrance Scholarship
- Full Scholarships - This entitles the awardee to free tuition and laboratory fees for one year and is granted to an incoming freshman who graduated Summa Cum Laude or Magna Cum Laude from his pre-med course with NMAT of 80 percentile or better.
- Partial Scholarships - This entitles the awardee to 50 % discount on tuition fee and laboratory fee for one year and is granted to an incoming Freshman who graduated Cum Laude from his pre-med course with NMAT of 80 percentile or better.
- College Entrance Scholarship - This entitles the awardee to a 25% discount on tuition fee and laboratory fee for one year and is granted to an incoming Freshman who graduated Valedictorian or Salutatorian from his pre-med course.
Note: All Entrance Scholarship applicants should have no failing grades in his/her Baccalaureate course to qualify for the scholarship. - Special Grants - This entitles the awardee to a 10% discount on tuition fee and laboratory fee for one year and is granted to an incoming Freshman who graduated First, Second, or Third Honor on his pre-med course
Candidates for the above four entrance scholarships are recommended for approval to the President of the Medical Center by the Committee on Admissions and the Committee on Scholarships and Academic Honors with the concurrence of the Dean, College of Medicine. - Special Honors Award (From AFUSA, Inc) - This is given to incoming freshmen students who have excellent academic performance in the baccalaureate degrees but do not qualify for the Pres. Francisco Dalupan Entrance Scholarships nor to the University Entrance Scholarship. This award entitles a qualified freshman student to partial tuition fee grant of Four Hundred Dollars ($400) for one year. The student is recommended to the Dean by the Committee on Scholarships and Academic Honors. All applicants are ranked based on the following criteria and awards are given depending on available slots.
- GWA of 1.76 – 2.0
- NMAT percentile rank of 90 and higher
- College Scholarship
- Scholarships for Academic Excellence (COM, CON, CAReS)
- Full scholarship – any student with a weighted average of 1.75 or better at the end of the academic year just completed is entitled to free tuition and laboratory fees for one year in the succeeding school year upon the recommendation of the Committee on Scholarships and Academic Honors with the concurrence of the Deans, Vice President for Academic Affairs and approval of the President of the Medical Center.
- Partial scholarship – any student with a weighted average of 2.00 or better at the end of the academic year just completed is entitled to 50% discount on tuition and laboratory fees for one year in the succeeding school year upon the recommendation of the Committee on Scholarships and Academic Honors with the concurrence of the Deans, Vice President for Academic Affairs and approval of the President of the Medical Center.
For both scholarships, the student should have no grade below 2.5. Students are also required to apply for the above mentioned scholarship to avail of the benefit. - Grants-in-Aid - Tuition fee discount is given by UERMMMC, Inc. to financially deserving students in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th or 5th year level. This scholarship entitles the student to 15% to 80% discount on tuition and laboratory fees. Eligible students are interviewed and recommended by the Committee on Scholarships and Academic Honors with the concurrence of the Dean and approval of the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Medical Center. Application forms are available at the Dean's Office.
- College-Based Scholarship

The College of Medicine awards non-honorific grants which consist of partial subsidy for tuition and other fees to students in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year who fulfill the set criteria. Students who received these scholarship grants may apply for the same grants the following school year provided they pass all subjects.
Recipients of these grants are required to render 40 hours service to the Medical Center before the start of the following academic year that the scholarship was granted. The following units may be considered as service areas: Records section, Library, Pharmacy, Emergency Room (for 3rd and 4th yrs only) and selected diagnostic areas like CP lab. The head of the unit will certify on the service rendered.
Generally, a student cannot avail of more than one scholarship in one academic year, however, on special case, the Committee on Academic Honors and Scholarship may have the discretion to give additional grants to some students after evaluating their need.
Application forms are available at the Dean's Office starting second semester of the school year. Eligible candidates are interviewed and recommended by the Committee on scholarships and Academic Honors to the Dean for final approval. The respective benefactors are then informed of their grantees. - Gold Scholarship (US$2,000) Criteria:
- The student must be financially in need
- The student must belong to the top 25% of the class
- The student must have good moral character.
- The student should apply to be considered.

- Book Scholarships are subsidy grants for 3rd and 4th year students who are:
- Financially challenged
- Currently enrolled in the school year he is applying for the grant
- Of good moral character
- Benefits would entitle the student to subsidy for purchase of books within the allotted budget of the alumni donor
- Student should submit an essay stating why he needs or deserves the grant
- This is submitted to the Committee of Scholarships and Awards during the 1st week of classes.
Incoming freshmen students who graduated with high school honors shall enjoy a full or a partial exemption from payment of tuition fees for the initial semester:
Valedictorian - 100%
Salutatorian - 50%
