• Submit the proposal to the research coordinator of the unit who shall evaluate its significance and forward it to Research Institute for Health Sciences.

• The proposal is referred to the technical and ethics review committee for evaluation.

• The proponent is asked to react to the comments of the committees and/or amend the proposal.

• The Vice President for Research reviews the recommendations of the committee and submits his/her recommendation to the President of the Medical Center.

• Send all soft copies of the required documents via email at ethicsreviewcommittee@uerm.edu.ph.

          Initial review: P50,000.00 for clinical trials
                                    P40,000.00 for BA/BE
                                    P10,000.00 for non-clinical trials

•  The technical and ethics review committees evaluate and comment on the proposal; the
  the proponent is allowed to clarify and/or revise the proposal before approval by the research director.

• If the clinical trial is approved for implementation, the Sponsor/Principal Investigator shall pay an
  administrative fee equivalent to 15% of the operational expenses allotted to the study participants.
