DEGREE PROGRAM

Thesis Track 
 
  • Master of Science in Asian Health Practices
    This degree program is designed to train students in traditional and indigenous health practices that can be integrated into conventional medicine. Major courses in this track include the history, principles, bioethical concepts and practical application of these practices conforming to the WHO guidelines and within the bounds of current Philippine laws, i.e. Medical Act of 1959, Section 11, PITAHC law.
  • Master in Health Science Education
    This degree program is designed for academicians in health education institutions who intend to become master teachers, educational leaders, and education specialists in the health professions.
  • Master of Science in Public Health
    This degree program is geared towards a theory-grounded application of public health tools designed for academicians and practitioners who intend to pursue scientific careers in public health.
  • Master of Science in Nursing
    Master of Arts in Nursing
    This degree program is designed to develop professional nurses in various specialty and leadership roles through advanced clinical practice, scientific endeavors, and community development work using evidence-based skills.
  • Master of Science in Tropical Medicine
    This degree program is designed for tropical medicine practitioners who intend to pursue scientific careers in academic and health research institutions.

 
Non-Thesis
 
  • Master in Health Care Management
    This degree program intends to create health care managers and leaders who are responsive to the changing health care needs of the community yet able to do so in a viable manner. Students will not necessarily have the health science background but are working in various organizations involved in health delivery such as hospitals, LGU health centers, specialty clinics and wellness centers, pharmaceutical companies, NGOs, and social organizations.
  • Master of Health Science Education
    This degree program is designed for academicians in health education institutions who intend to become master teachers in the health professions. It is composed of thirty-four (34) units. The student is required to pass the comprehensive examination and requires a capstone project of three (3) units.
  • Master of Public Health
    This degree program is geared towards a theory-grounded application of public health tools designed for practitioners who intend to pursue advanced careers in public health practice. This program consists of thirty nine (39) units. The student should pass the comprehensive examination and requires a capstone project of three (3) units.
